Andy Attiliis began his career serving in the creative departments of several advertising agencies. During that period, the positions he held included: Production Artist, Graphic Designer / Illustrator, Art Director / Writer, Co-Creative Director and Creative Director. Attiliis went on to become President / Creative Director of his own design studio and VP / Creative Director of Gill Inc., a Web site design and content development company. From each platform, he has helped clients identify and perform the creative functions necessary to produce their messages. Whether a project required single or multi-service assistance usually depended on their project's managerial and scheduling requirements. Andy has been hired by associations, businesses, nonprofit groups and the Federal Government.
Because he's able to deliver concept, brand, copy writing, illustration and design, many organizations have enjoyed substantial savings on the development of their promotional work. In addition to facilitating cost efficiency, versatility and quality have been key to him being awarded scores of multi-layered assignments. For example, Andy's illustration portfolio shows 12 groups of work with 10 different looks in the 'Line' section alone. In his design portfolio there are over 300 categorized samples. And the links in that column to your left visit annotated samples categorized by creative function and media vehicle. Also there are credits that specify the contributions he made to each project.
Andy's Web site design credentials include an emarketing endeavor called IdeaSiteForBusiness.com. It is an online service which offers communication ideas and products to entrepreneurs. In addition to design, this site exemplifies Andy's content authorship and information architectural development skills. Another site that demonstrates the range of knowledge he has built over the years is Creative Process For Communications.com. This online offering details a training course for those interested in learning how to effectively create and brand their own messages.
While Andy has never entered work into a competition, thoughtful clients and employers have made submissions on his behalf. A few such entries have resulted in the following awards: D.C. Addys for illustration, creative direction, art direction and design; D.C. Illustrator's Club awards for a variety of illustration categories; New York Art Directors Show for art direction; One Show for art direction; the Southern Creativity Awards for illustration; and a Clio 'honorable mention' for creative direction.
